PC Master TechnicianT Certification Standards: Graduates
will be required to have an understanding of the current methods used to
build, repair and upgrade personal computers, as measured by comprehensive
exam. The exam will cover support for Windows 9X, networking, and
optimizing the computer for maximal performance. Passing the certification
exam will indicate a winning ability to provide solutions in today's
complex and continually changing computer industry.
PC Master TechnicianT Certification Materials: Each
student will receive course instructions, video tapes, exam and Diploma.
Questions for the exam will be drawn from video tapes provided by the
Institute, and will relate to actual, day-to-day computer problems. The
exam will be multiple-choice, not timed, and can be retaken if necessary.
A score of 90% or higher will demonstrate proficiency.
